Women in Wildfire was founded as a solution-oriented group focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing women in fire professions across Central Oregon. Together, we are building a community based on shared experiences and respected differences, addressing challenges, and celebrating progress.
Through our commitment to equitable hiring and unbiased organizational practices, we create a diverse, welcoming environment that benefits everyone, and our entire workforce thrives.
We foster safe and inclusive spaces to network and develop technical and leadership skills to advance careers in wildland fire management, ecology, program management, and other natural resource pathways.

Join us for fun social get-togethers every second Tuesday of the month at different local venues. These gatherings are a great opportunity to meet others interested in and currently working in fire and natural resources across Central Oregon. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
